Lora Hlavsa (she/her) is a Filipino-American artist, illustrator and designer living and working in Minneapolis. Born in Minnesota and raised in California, Hlavsa’s bold, colorful and frequently chaotic work explores pop culture, fashion, and food. Hlavsa works both digitally and with traditional mediums, and is primarily interested in layering color, pattern and texture to create compositions that are striking from afar and immersive up close.
